  • Anyone in Raleigh, NC?

I need a car looked at before I decide if flying down is something I want to do to pick up a car.

    Here is the car.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I can't offer any fiscal help, but I'll shoot your car for you if you do this for me.

    Thanks,

    Kielan

Thanks man, most important thing I need looked at is the rear subframe, just to make sure its not tearing.

You know a bunch about E46s, so I assume you know what to look for, if not text me and we can talk over what you need to look at.

never really seen what the tearing out looks like in person, I just know its a problem. I'd have to let someone who knows exactly what they're looking for to look at it.

Starts on the driver's side rear one first really, just looks like cracking in the metal, if its bad you will really know. It's pretty obvious. And if you drive it, (which I hope you would for me) you would hear it as well. If you don't see any tearing, but still hear a clunk, its like the rear subframe bushings or the diff bushing.

I'd drive it, duh. I'll take a look at it, I think I can figure it out based on what you just explained. And if you come down here to pick it up, don't worry about shooting a car. I don't have one for you to shoot lol

Thanks dude. You're a life saver.

Obviously I would be coming down to pick it up lol. And wtf you mean you don't have a car for me to shoot. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?

haha no problem man. I've sold my SSR wheels and now I'm back on some CSL reps with the 135i. I just bought a 1992 Laguna Green E30 Cabrio. Its stock, so I haven't made a thread about it yet. Once I get the ball rolling with it I'll make a build thread but I have a lot of work to do before then.
