I Want to transfer to California/West Coast/aka not here.

Yeah Penn State would not be a good fit for you, what you want in a school is pretty much what I want. Urban liberal setting, a place that not everyone looks the same, somewhere where there is "character" I would say. What east coast schools are you applying to?

I know it may be irrelevant but I find that listing off some great west coast schools would be better than not contributing to the thread at all.

I'll be a sophomore at Cornell in the Fall. I've had thoughts of transferring but I don't think I'd be able to leave my friends behind. If I didn't join a fraternity I most definitely would have transferred out. People living in campus dorms are depressed as shit and they have an awful time. I'll be living in house for the first time this fall and its going to be crazy. Hopefully not too crazy so my grades don't go down. Maybe try rushing?

Depends where you live, bro. I had the chance to move off campus (into a beach house) this year and my friends I decided to stay on campus. My friends off campus don't do shit on the weekdays because they don't wanna get off their asses and drive to campus. There's nothing more fun than walking around campus, belligerent on atuesday night visiting your friends.
