I hear ya, i'm kinda in the same situation. not much really went the way i expected this year; whether it was baseball, grades, or girls nothing seemed to go my way. but i have higher hopes for this year, we'll be back at school in less than a month so we'll find out soon enough.

Yeah I'd like to think this year will be better, but I really have no idea.

Sounds good. Freshman year is always memorable and fun, but in reality it kinda blows in every way possible. That's why i'm really looking forward to this school year.

If I don't get to transfer, I'm 100% moving out there after school, but unless I have an AMAZING year at school this year. I'm 90% sure I'm transferring.

Haha, nice. I would probably go for Oxy, just because I like having a small campus and knowing a lot of people. But UC is a really good school and there are a lot of campuses to choose from. Good luck with everything though, I'm planning on getting out of PA sometime after school. It all depends on what kind of job i can get and where.

I was looking at this school for a little while this year, my freshman roommate lives in Laguna Beach and we had it a solid plan going on... but nothing ever came from it.

Here are some pics of the campus.

Only problems with this place are: It's a liberal arts college which means everything is going to be harder than it needs to be. It's nowhere near as big as PSU. It's fucking expensive. But, a degree from this place could land you nearly any job. It's the 36th best liberal arts school in the nation (that's a lot better than it sounds). The campus is 56% bitches and 44% dudes. It's close to the actual city in LA and the beach. And the president you look like went there for 2 years before transferring to Columbia University.

The only other places that I can think of are the obvious places, USC, University of Cal, San Francisco State, University of San Francisco, Pepperdine, and Stanford.

So, here's the deal. I want to leave this fucking place. I wouldn't be able to transfer schools until next year, but I want to. Badly. Currently I'm an information science and technology major at Penn State. I'd like to move over to the west coast, go to school for the same/similar thing, and live over there permanently.

The question is. I don't know many schools over there that offer what I want/I would need a place to live that's not on campus. So this is where I ask you guys, what's out there? Who needs a roommate next year? Who likes me enough to even consider posting in this thread?

I'd like to go to a school that is on the same level as PSU if not better. I'm doing my research but your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks everyone,

    Kielan
