  • Flux Pavilion-Gold Dust (2 Cam/Live Sound)

Hey guys. I shot Flux Pavilion last week and am proud to share this with you. My friend and I managed to get the whole song from 2 angles so I cut them together, he graded it, and we've got what I think is a pretty rare occurrence on our hands. A fully produced 2 camera shoot of a live Dubstep track with good audio.

    Without further adeiu:

If you've got a good PC be sure to watch it in HD.

has dubstep become the "stance" or the music scene now?

Dubstep is blowing up pretty big if that's what you mean. I've been exposed to it for a while now as I've got friends who started Dj'ing D&B and then moved onto Dub. I wouldn't say it's the next huge thing in music though.

I bet You'll see a spinoff genre called Moombahton go mainstream before you see dubstep do it.

And yeah this show kicked ass. I killed all my media shooting everyone else so I didn't get any of Doctor P's set, but that's ok, because I helped my self to some of the Grey Goose in the green room and got to actually enjoy his set haha.

Thanks fo rthe compliments guys, I was really proud of this one. It was shot on DSLRs if anyone was wondering.

thats cool, what genre would you say debstep is most related to?

i guess thats an awkward way of saying where did it come from?

i first thought it was a jamaican import, then i heard it was from the UK..

Early dubstep, the original stuff has roots to reggae, drum and bass, and breakbeat. Its been around for around 10 yrs+ but its just now getting more and more popular in the states. It did originate in the uk, south london more specifically
