I'd rather live underground, its not like I'm going to be able to open the windows in a zombie apocalypse anyway, so what's the point, an underground structure would be more secure, and would allow you to go basically unnoticed, natural heating and cooling, it would be much more ideal.

That house is more than secure. You could open the up stairs windows with no issue in a zombie apocalypse. They're not going to scale 10' of flat, smooth concrete to get up to you.

And the roller door is plenty safe assuming each slat is 1/2" plate steel.

I'm sure they didn't build a fortress and then put a home depot 20ga sheet thick roller door on it for a wall.
