So, if you were following my build thread (which you prolly weren't) my car got totaled and they gave the title a COD, so there's no bringing it back short of doing an illegal vin swap or something. So i've been looking for a new car to replace it. Well I found a w124 1994 E320 coupe in Michigan which was in my budget and was exactly what I was looking for but my deadbeat friends took too long to go look at it and it got bought from out under me. Soo...now i'm on the look for another car. There's no need to keep looking for that car again because they're too rare, and by the time I find another one like that it'll be too long and I need a dd relatively soon.
Soo....as it stands it would be nice to be able to get another Mercedes that I could reuse my AMG 3.6 motor instead of letting it go to waste or selling it. I was looking for a sl320 also but they're just as rare apparently. Also I was thinking of putting it into a 190e but they seem a little too old for a dd, it's still on the list as maybes. So wat do you guys think? Do you guys have any opinions or suggestions? I have around 5k to work with.
Some other cars that I wouldn't be able to use my AMG motor with but are in my budget and are kinda cool
This car is in bad shape but I could prolly fix it up pretty easily and I think they came factory with bag like suspension
This car is really cheap, but I thought with it slammed and a different paint job it could look manlyish? what do you guys think? I've seen some slammed and they look pretty good.
I kinda want to stick to MB's since no one really modifies them, and I would love to get a German car before SOWO, but like I said I'm open to any suggestions. I do have friend/history with Mercedes and Porsche's so it would be easier to fix those kinda euro cars.
Anywho, lemme know what you guys think.
