PHAS3D, I just looked up the definition of Brostep, and now I see where you're coming from. I didn't know there was a difference, I just make music how I like it to sound, but I guess my breakdown really is more "brostep" then "dubstep".

How do you hear no dubstep in this? Did you listen to the whole thing? What's your deal dude..
Thanks!
Well having been listening to dubstep for a about 5 years now, I've heard it all, i have gone through the brostep phase, I used to listen to skrillex, flux, doctor p, ect... Everyone that has been in the scene for a long time knows what real dubstep is like hatcha, skream, kode 9, benga, horsepower, artwork, digital mystikz, pinch, benton, loefah, kromestar, i could go on forever. These artists are the founders of dubstep since early 2000s, and in the past year or two these newer artists are coming into the scene with way different sounds, which is great, but they have no feel for the mood or vibes that dubstep is based off of. And all of their followers have no respect for the underground dub like it used to be. The track you posted is like hyphy club music, it just doesn't sound good with a bunch of random noises at all times. I mean yeah your track does sound good for what it is... but please do not call this dubstep.
Im sorry if i came off as a dick.... As the saying goes... "dubstep is dead"
It's no problem, I like when people are passionate about music, regardless of genre. It's the same argument as "what's REAL hip-hop." But yea I AM making crazy club music with a pop edge. When I said 'Dubstep' I was saying it because that's what 99% of people would describe it as, you just happen to be an OG dubstepper.
