  • This would be a sweet stanced car-Maserati BiTurbo

The Maserati Biturbo would look sweet Stanceworked. I've heard it's an extremely unreliable car but still cool.

Small, light, and most come with a manual trans. Right around 3,000 lbs if I recall, with ~200HP and even more torque. It's quick. Looks are a love/**** thing but I like em. Here's a link to an auction.

    Thoughts?

Don't think it would be worth it. It's not really a good looking platform IMO.

Worth it for your wallet? Hell no. Aftermarket part availability? Nonexistent. If I had a disposable income I might take a shot at it though.

Oh and the interior is drop dead gorgeous.

        Someday.

          I think it's pretty good looking as-is.

I'd like to own a Maserati at some point in my lifetime; I wouldn't mind if it were a Biturbo.

Actually there are already a few semi-fitted ones out there. Parts (new at least) really aren't that bad to find either, they use Bosch and share a bunch of things with german cars of the same generation.

My old man has owned a biturbo for years. It kills me that he keeps it in 4x4 mode with these skinny little tires that have zero traction and look dorky. Timing belt went awhile ago and since it's an interference valve/piston engine design, it totally ass reamed itself. He spent a lot of time and money fixing it after that.

If you were to slam it and get it's stance looking nice and aggressive it would be incredible.
Be prepared to never get any rolling shots of it though. That thing will be sitting in your driveway refusing to move 90% of the time.

Maybe it could be the next Rusty, or, wait, Maserusty.

They come in cabriolet form so there won't be a need for a chop top.
