WTF Does R32 mean to you...?

If it makes you feel better, when I see people refer to an s14 I come into threads looking for e30 M3 content. As for the R32 I think VW b/c most of the skylines just started showing up here in TN recently.

LOL. Same. I have an e30, I'm on S14.net and never been into Silvias so I assume that too.

Im suprised that people dont associate r32 with nissans automatically... They have only been around for 20+ years, but I guess not everyone whos into cars would actually know about various makes and models

This was my logic too. Say Mercedes changed the E300 and E350 to e30 and e35 (just say...), I understand that the model of the car is now e30 instead of e300, but you would still refer to it as a Mercedes E30 as to not confuse it with the legendary BMW.
VW has produced a few of these cars over the last couple generations, the skyline has been around since before 98% of this board. Start putting VW or Golf in the titles damn it... R32 by itself always means the original.

Skyline. Most people usually refer to chassis codes and also Nissan R32s give me boners so naturally they come to mind.
