Should've cleaned all the surfaces before you started to bomb it. The adhesive won't keep contact on contaminated (oil/grease/AmorAll/etc...) panels or parts.

A friend of mine used to cover all the stickers with a layer of Contact (that 3M transparent adhesive).
If big enough, it'll be able to keep the edges of your stickers glued to one another.

I did actually clean it hey but still lifted

Who knows if this doesnt work maybe the best option would be to remove it

What??? With wax and grease remover? Or did you use Lacquer thinner? Or did you just short cut (not a good method) and go to the carwash and use there engine degreaser?



Best way to do it:


Powerwash the engine bay, the use wax and grease remover after it has dried out, and go to town bombing. You can also use the wax and grease remover on interior parts.
