We are comparing E30 to mid-late 90's honda.Originally posted by Zic View PostI live HERE that place just north of UK. i think im pretty much in one of the worst country for rust. E30 will rust if you look at it wrong. Same as honda.

A well kept and washed car doesn't just rust away. Out here rust is a problem (salt on the winter roads), Hondas maybe start to rust a little better, but I've seen lots and lots of rusted out beemers too.Originally posted by Zic View PostI have to disagree. + living in a country were rust is a HUGE problem, all of the Hondas rust way WAY faster then the BMWs
The rust resistancy depends of the owner.
And cause I'm a Hondafan, Honda > Bmw.

Properly cared for Honda will do 240k + some and the only things you will have to warry about is brake pads, oil, and tires.
Dont try to compare POS E30 to mid/late 90's Honda when it comes to reliability! If person is an ideot he can kill anything, be it brand new honda or brand new BMW, but if one would take equal care of both cars (BMW & Honda). Honda will last waaaaaaaaaay longer than bmw.

BTW, have you honestly got over 20k posts in a little over a year?
