While looking at Josh's thread the other day i couldnt think of another thread like this so. Post pics of you and your car being pulled over and a short story.(readers digest version)
#1 Was rollin through an S Curve and a cop was sitting in a parking lot on the outside of the last curve, Seen me and booked through traffic. I turned down a side street to try and hide cause i knew he'd be coming for me lol. So He puts his lights on i pulled over. Pulled me over for wearing no seatbelt but yet i was and had my windows up(Tinted @30%) so he can apparently see through dark tint.. W/E gave me a $275 ticket and 2demerits


#2 He was behind me, I switched lanes hit a dip and sprayed his car with a sparkshow. He didn't like it so he followed me and pulled me over, Then Proceeded to yell at me my cars illegal and modified so i argued back it was stock. He went back to the car and his partner came back telling me they should tow me but he's letting me go and to get home and fix my car. LOL.

Brookeville, PA - No plates, malfunctioning headlamp, suspicion of false identity (lol)

Driving back from New Jersey to Winnipeg with the Miata, first night on the road. I've been driving since 5pm and it's nearly 1am when I spot a truck stop with a T/A (cheap motel). Apparently the truck stop is most of Brookeville, Pennsylvania, as far as I can see (looking at a map now, I see that's not the case).

Seconds after I pull into 'town', I get pulled over, I guess the copper was parked on the side of the highway. Initially he pulled me because I had a burnt out filament. I can't recall if it was low beam or highbeam.. but I hadn't even noticed. But then he noticed that I had no plates or registration because the car was on temporary Manitoba insurance that I'd had faxed over to NJ when I picked up the car.

Luckily he wasn't a dick about it, I just explained what it was, and gave him my passport and driver's license. He didn't really care about the registration anyways (which I thought was weird... foreign brown guy in a car with no plates at 1am.. you'd think it's suspicious looking). But then he punched in something wrong when checking my records at got the wrong profile. So that got some alarm bells going, and while I was hunkered down in the car trying to stay warm, 3 other cop cars had showed up.
The cop came and questioned me about my identity and asked me if I was travelling under an alias (this is where I started to think I might be pretty fucked).
However, in the end, I guess after I flatly denied using any alias other than what's on my credentials, they went and re-checked things, and it came up properly.

Ended up with a warning for the headlight, and directions to get it fixed asap at the 24h garage nearby. I wish I hadn't bothered, since I got seriously gouged ($60!!) and really, I wasn't planning on being anywhere near Pennsylvania by next nightfall, but that's a lesson learned. But yeah, interesting experience.
