I still buy magazines. I know the internet is strong but there is still those that would buy a magazine keep it for a while and go back to it for ideals later. I do that. I have stacks of magazines in the garage to go back to because i saw something cool in it. What I was origanly asking was would anyone on here buy the magazine?

Thats the point to have a magizine where people like us have place in this world. So there will always be people that won't buy magazines. but there is a world of them that still buy them. Eurotuner, Lowrider, Hot Rod, Motorcycle mags, and so on. Some of us would kill to get our cars published in a magazine. Those of us who would'nt are trying to get our cars together or just think we are not worthy. My car is not ready but there is plenty of cars on this forum that would look killer in a mag. Those cars would make people say did you do that and then ask what would it cost for you to do that to my car. How do you think some of the custom car builders got thier start? Word of mouth and Publication. Some of the guys diong this stuff thierselves are verry tallented and could do this stuff for a living if they wanted to. Just saying.

If you want to fork out $50k+ to get it off the ground, go for your life, as most have said, they wount buy it, so in reality, you dont have a market to sell it to.... You need that to begin with in order for it to pay itself off/make a turnover...

I don't get it. You want to sell me a magazine of a website that I go on everyday?

I think I'd rather wait and earn my place in a legit magazine.

i love this forum and the people in it, but sometimes you can all be total assholes, and not in the funny way. i agree that making a stance magazine will probably not go anywhere, but lay off the negativity and overall dickishness. skibum is the only one who posted something helpful; if you don't have anything to contribute besides 'the internet makes magazines obsolete' then why bother?

and though the digital age is making more and more physical services obsolete (like blockbuster, some magazines, etc.) it is not going to wipe them into obscurity anytime in the near future. go on a subway and see how many people are reading newspapers; people like to hold things, tangible things, and that is a natural part of being a human; we like to have things in our physical world. there are still book stores like barnes and noble and hundreds of magazine/newsstands in the country, why are they still around if the internet makes it all pointless? also, i think its funny that people mention how magazines like pbmw and pvw exist, yet use the fact that they do to argue how a new stance magazine will never work, kind of ironic to me.

no personal offense intended to anyone, just really think the way you're treating this guy is uncalled for. and no, im not mad bro

I bet you that in 5 years, if you say print magazine, people will laugh in your face.

Also trying to start in an established market, and be successful, that in of itself is HUGE challenge.

To address people like having things in their hands, look at the number of people with ebook readers, iPads, iPhones, Smartphones in general.

Print media is a dying breed.

What magizines? Maybe I've spent the last 25 years of my life dedicated to the wrong field. I have had show winng cars, but mag worthy. I saw a biuld thread about a convertable BMW this car when done would or should be worthy. So if the guys that said no to this, If you were asked if your car could be it you would say no. I would jump at it just to brag to my friends. I remember a magazine that started out being about readers rides and then they went to factory biult tuners and I personaly qiut buying it. Put a car like some of these cars on this forum in a magazine rack and bet people like us would buy it.

                                Mostly PBMW, PVW, EuroTuner.

And I'm sure if you look at those mags (those are the big ones in the "stance scene") you will find that the cover cars, featured cars, are all cars that regular people build, pour their life into. Hardly any of them are "factory built tuners", I think you need to do some market research. Not being a dick, just being honest.
