I get what they're saying, but also agree with the article. Sure it may have started out as a goodwill mission to reduce drunk driving, but it has turned into too much of a 'policing business'. They fuck do they know about what drivers are like on the thousands of roads in the USA, let alone elsewhere? Each jurisdiction knows what to look out for and when, not MADD with some manipulated stats.

It seems they're overlooked their mission statement and took it too far...

MARION COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - A woman who was the former president of the Mothers Against Drunk Driving chapter in Gainesville has been arrested for drunk driving.

Debra Oberlin, 48, was arrested around 1:00 a.m. February 18 after police say the car she was driving was swerving on Northwest 39th Street. According to the arrest report she was given two breathalyzer tests and measured .234 and .239. The limit in Florida is .08.

The downfall of every great charitable or social outreach program is when it stops becoming not-for-profit.
They have fixed the game in their favor, if you speak out against them you are a heartless monster and probably guilty of murdering puppies with your car while drunk.
It sounds like they have been taken over by the extreme right, sadly much like the tea party has been.
