I have a concealed weapons license. I'm extremely responsible, and would do everything in my power not to have to use my weapon. It's the last resort possible. Most people I know with concealed weapons permits treat them the same way. I'm sorry, but most people don't have the self control or common sense to be able to carry. I think you should have to have a permit to carry (pass a background check at a minimum) letting anyone and everyone carry is asking for trouble, because people in general are idiots. AND if someone is going to shoot up a campus, I doubt they would take into consideration whether is is legal to even carry a weapon on campus before killing people.

Also Ted Nugent is an insane person, and embarrassing hillbilly far right nut, and I h a t e him....
