I routinely in a 2 day tournament would shoot 74-68 and have the same stats from tee to green.
my putts are decent. My short game was on fire to end the year. I was chipping in pars and birdies like a champ

Forgot I started this. I play probably 2 competitive rounds every week and a tournament probably every other week. My ball striking was REMARKABLE this year. At the end of last year, I started working on a release fade that you hit from the inside and I hit is amazing. With my kids getting older and all of their sports, my time practicing really went down so my short game is crap.

Best round this year was 65 and averaged 74 with 32 putts LOLOLOLOL.

Here is a vid I made end of last year working on my swing. When I was 23, out of college golf, I grenaded my left shoulder playing basketball. Total reconstruction and 8 months of P.T. and I started playing again but I have 1/2 of the strength that I used to so I cannot keep my left arm strait at the top of my swing..... trust me, I have tried and strength trained but it didn't do anything. But hey, I sure can tell the weather.

Also, my left arm is 5" longer than my right. ya..... so my shoulders point all sorts of crooked so pay no attention to that

End of the season bump. Probably went out 45 times this year. been shooting lights out the last few weeks though. It looks like I know what Im doing haha. The last month my handicap is probably +7

In the off season I'll be buying new driver, fairway wood, rescue. Maybe new irons or just get new shafts for mine. Turns out I need to be playing a stiff flex steel shaft cause my swing speed is too high for graphite

I play when I can (when my dad buys me a game). Not good, but getting better. I worked out my slice but it's come back but I think I figured it out.

Vegas has so many fucking golf courses.

Golfed a lot more a few years ago when it was free (worked at courses) had the handicap down to the 2.x range, but probably up to an 8 or so now. Still love the game! Oh, and I am a club whore, have way too many clubs, putters, headcovers, shafts, lol... Can never have too many though right?

I played back in south america since i was 9 years old, and played under what was called Mini calichin and beat my age group and 3 year older brothers age group in a match on different occasions.. Came to the U.S tried out for the team, didn't like how the couch was all about win win win do what i say... I like golf for the fun i had (obviously getting best score is important) but i didn't want the couch to take that away from me, so i just played every weekend until i got my new job and now i cant since i work too darn much :/ BUT my dad keeps playing lucky bastard hahahhaa

lulz, Tiger sucks.......... it hurts to say it because I am the BIGGEST Tiger Woods fan on the planet, but the stack and tilt thing isnt working for him. He needs to go back to the 2000 swing where he got off the ball more and behind it more because that keeps him from the head dip and getting stuck.

Anyway, seems we have a few players on here. Good to see. If you dont play, hit up your local PGA pro and get into it. It is a LOAD of fun.
