That's not a bad deal at all

Yup, so 2 years ago when I won it I shot 67.

Last Sunday in 30mph winds and 25 deg. wind chills I fired a 83 lol. Day was brutal.
I actually hit it great but couldn't feel the club at the top of my swing and hit 2 tee balls OB. Take away those 2 holes and I played pretty good. 75 won.

Putting was impossible as you couldn't feel your hands and the wind was reeking havoc on the ball. 3 putted twice for par..... that always hurts.

I started truly playing about a year ago. I'm 23 now and when I was way younger I went a few times with my dad. He plays and has been playing since he was a little kid. He always tried to get me to come out but unfortunately I was never very interested. I also outgrew my kids clubs and my lack of interest never made me pursue getting new clubs.

I started off absolutely horrible (110+) spring 2013 and got down to low 90s by fall 2013. I played for the first time this season at a 108, then a 103, then a 98. I am hoping to get a lot better this year, hopefully will be able to break 90 by fall. I certainly need practice and work. My swing especially needs work.

In my bag ( Ogio spyke stand bag):
    Ping G5 10.5
Titleist 906F2 15 degree and 18 degree Fairways
    Titleist 585-H 21 degree Hybrid
    Titleist 755 Forged Irons. PW-4
Titleist Vokey Design spin milled wedges. 56 and 60 degrees
    Yes! Victoria ii putter

Some of this was graciously handed down to me by my dad so he could upgrade to new stuff. Some stuff I bought myself. He actually just got the Taylormade Speedblades which he seems to like a lot.

I started playing golf when I was about 8. My dad was a pro for years, so I got started young. Played through middle school and high school but stopped. During that time I was a member at Lake Forest Country club in Louisville and at a small course closer to my house. But I haven't played in over a year now and it's killing me. Just finishing up my freshman year of college (like I'm taking my last final in about 2 hours lol) so I'm planning on getting back into it this summer.

    Currently in the bag:
    Taylormade Tour Burner 9.5 stiff
    Taylormade Burner 3 wood
    Taylormade Rescue 4 hybrid
    Taylormade R7 TP 4-PW irons
Taylormade RAC TP wedges 54* and 60*
Titleist Scotty Cameron putter that I can't remember the model of.

My setup is old (well it was new when I got all of it) but I love it.

Im not a fan of those grips. But then again I have a lot of confidence in my putter, so Im certainly swayed to like the grip I have lol

The rest of my clubs should be arriving on Saturday so I can finally get out and play some rounds. Looking for a home course here that I can hit often. There are 2 or 3 that interest me

    BUMP!

Picked up some new woods in the offseason. Taylormade RBZ Stage 2 driver, 3wood and 5wood. Still looking for a 3 and 4 hybrid. And considering some new irons. But that stuff probably wont happen until a little farther into the season
