Dont get a fiesta! Its a Ford and they suck, even over here they suck. Get something old but nice for your first car mate I had a '82' polo derby 1.0L 66bhp and that was the dogs!! (I'm not saying get one of them though lol)

Seriously you can do better than a Subaru, plus you need to think about maintaining it too, that will set you back a few $$$.

German all the way buddy! Maybe get tempted by Jap but not subaru, civic type r or an Integra.

But end of the day its your choice. Tell you something, you wouldnt be getting a Subaru if you lived over here, they wouldnt even touch you on insurance, even if your dad insured it!

You can say you won't speed, but as soon as you get in a car by yourself properly and get to drive 'properly' you will do. I am glad I never did anything to my first car, I absolutely loved my 1.4 75bhp Peugeot 306 in Turquiose, but I buckled 2 wheels throwing it around and thrashed the bollocks off it everywhere. Now I have the BMW with half decent rims and that, I am scared to flick the back end out ever. Enjoy crappy cars whilst you are young and don't pay too much.

totally agree with Jorge, i've had some shit cars and worked my way up and now appreciate the power i have even if it is a diesel. My next car will be something like an S5 or something along those lines as its a car I love, patience young bean sprout!

My first car was plymuth neon. I it wasnt about being cheaper, it was about minor not being able to register a car not get insurance in his name. lol
