            I'm a fan of everything posted so far pretty much, but what about the youth? There are some youngins on the rise. They're bringing a new sound, but they're focusing on the lyrics... not bitches, stacks, and bullshit.
            Tayyib Ali
            I know this probably isn't the best first song to post for an artist, but i love the beat on this one.

            no, he doesn't glorify drug use, it's just the topic for that song.
            Huey Mack
            This is one of my favorites for sure, mainly cuz i can relate to the entire thing, if you were born in the 90's you know what's up.
            [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OoJRwSiB9eI"]YouTube - Huey Mack - Take Me Back[/ame]
            Moosh and Twist
            Two 18 year olds from Philly, this might not be their best song, but it shows their creativity because nobody would ever sample Journey.
            [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDpp1zWuEU8"]YouTube - OCD: Moosh & Twist - City Kids[/ame]
            Diggy Simmons, yes the son of Rev Run. He's got the most old school flavor out of all of them i think.

            I'd say that's pretty damn good for a 16 year old.

            You guys might not like any of those guys, but we all have different tastes.
            and here's a throwback that i love as an added bonus.

              And blankeing the new stuff as shit is just as bad as "riding the trends" on your local top 40 station and ignoring its roots

                    Damn it's nice hearing something way different than the same "Mainstream" artists that pollute the radios now a days.

                          so far this thread is full of win

                          since i'm no longer part of the hip hop scene it's hard to discover new artist

                          i'm stuck in the '78 - 1999 period of HH

                          if u looking for that long lost old track, pretty good chance i got it
                          haha
