Some birds dieing does not = the end of the world. At least thats my take on it.

Maaaaybe there was some kind of Duck Hunt meets Tron type of shit going on in an alternate dimension which caused some form reprocussions in our dimension. Just sayin.

Ok sure, the government knew the dangers, but I am pretty sure advances are made everyday pushing past what we previously thought possible. First thing that comes to mind, going to the moon, we knew full well the risks of that still did it, and guess what beat the Russians there.. Your argument makes no sense. What you are saying is that we shouldn't challenge what we previously thought was impossible. If that was the attitude in the world, we would all still be banging rocks together trying to make fire.

Lol oh man someone gotta a lot of reading to do . The BP spill was caused by the drilling too deep into waters not even the RussiAns were doing . Because at that level there is nothing made to contain such a disaster , so the Russians ( whom are masters in deep see drilling ) backed off the idea and decided to play it safe. then BP offers the u.s a deal to go deeper than the Russians ever have and pretty much be the first oil company in American "territory" to do such a thing . it failed miserably and no one had the smallest clue as to how to fix it ( hence the 3 months it took to build that capoffs and what not ) so yes the government an d BP knew the dangers were not even imaginable but didn't care much and sht broke loose ....

1st - lol at the thought that the BP oil spill is a conspiracy theory. I mean it's one thing to believe that 9/11 was a conspiracy (which is still a pathetic viewpoint mind you), but to think that the oil spill serves some higher purpose... that's really stretching it thin

2nd - There are 2 sorts of people with relation to this god thing. Either you believe in him, and thus believe that he's the creator, or you don't believe in him, so it doesn't fucking matter.

I always lol at conspiracy theorists who put down religious people as if their belief in god makes them stupid. Pot meet kettle.
I'm Kielan, and we are now friends.

I think people are really over analyzing this whole thing, seriously. Stuff like this happens all the time. Hell the Long Island sound (that area of water between CT and New York), has times when a certain species of algae goes crazy and saps the water of oxygen it kills tons of fish and crustacean, and every time people have this same reaction. Its not the end of the world, disease (think avian flu), or eating something sprayed by pesticides or an animal that consumed other toxins, hell, the air could have had an unusual amount of smog or something like that I don't know, people need to stop blowing this way out of proportion. I **** the holiday period when it comes to news, normal things all of a sudden become huge and earth shattering news.

Drama came the idea that the birds could of ate the fish carrying the disease resulting in dead birds. If this is true, I bet someone would try to make some good ole roadkill stew leading to the disease to spread to humans. This all leading up to a zombie apocalypse.

You ever see that show on the history channel called ancient aliens? Its insane how much from the past is related to aliens. The pyramids, those head dudes on the island, nazi germanys advance technology durring ww2, even events in the bible. Each have 'clues' that lead to the theory that we have been visited and helped by aliens before.

The birds have nothing to do with 2012. If the poles were to switch like is said to happen in 2012, this would be all over the world and not just what two states. Plus wasn't Arkansas where all the dead fish popped up?

One idea has been drilled into our heads since day one, so we are supposed to believe it until we decide to question and think on our own. The other has been denied by the majority since day one making us think that the idea is very far fetched. I'm pretty sure you can match them up.

And as far as aliens, life on other planets, and religion... watch the movie "The Watchmen". Some of the ideas said my Dr. Manhattan really made me think. One of them kinda ties into religion; how can we really support creation? During his monologue he says that we're just part of a natural phenomenon, certain things happened and eventually we got to where we are today. the same thing that happened on earth could have happened on any other planet in this ever expanding universe, so to try and say that we are the only intelligent beings around seems kinda ridiculous.

i'm just gonna leave it at that and stop rambling.

As far as the "strange events" go (groups of fish and birds dying), I know that the fish died because the lake they were in was about 2 degrees C colder then normal so they basically froze to death, and the birds ( I can't remember the name) the necropsy of them shows that they died from blunt force trauma which is just silly because obviously you're going to receive some trauma dropping out of the sky from a 100 ft up. The weird mass death has apparently occurred a several times in the past 30 years. I am a man of science, thus ( yea i just used thus) i think this whole 2012 ish is just bologna. my 2 cents

For those who are concerned with religion, then an impending apocalypse is motivation to work towards salvation, but also a sign that we've failed as a race. So yeah, that's the source of commotion in their court.

I'm not gonna comment on religion as I will probably offend many people as I dislike anything to do with any kind of religion and will argue it to high heaven! (see what I did there??)

But with regards to the birds falling from the sky and fish being washed up dead, it's simples......... who cares?? If the world is gonna end, there is absolutly nothing we can do about it, so just live your life to the fullest!
