I think its "gay". For lack of a better adjective. I'm a big fan of OEM shit. Plus I couldn't fit an aftermarket lip on my car even if I wanted to haha

A much better option would be to do to a junk yard and see what you could piece together from other vehicles for that extra ten bucks, rather than going to home depot.

Most applications of this look pretty bad IMO, although there are a few exceptions. The one on that subie makes it look pretty cheap.

            Gay. Absolutely.

If there's no lip for your car, fab something up from a different car.

I need more info on that 850 lip though! My buddy MUST get that for his 850. It's just a vinyl cove molding?
Just vinyl cove base. Jim actually did a better job on reapplication:

If done right it can look decent. Just don't tell anyone what it is.

                  I'd never do it though.

                    all for home sexual lips.

it's going to cost 6.44, not a big dent in the wallet.

Depends on execution really. Some cars do not need it though, like the green box above.

                        I like em dropped.

WOW. That looks awesome. Really impressive for what it is. How did he or you install that if you don't mind me asking? My buddy and I are going to do this to his 850 this weekend.

                            The last version was tough

                            1. Cut 4" cove base down to 3" height (not easy to keep straight, but good scissors will work): Note: 3" doesn't require bracing behind the cove base -if you keep it at 4" - then you need to epoxy something metal behind the center section so it doesn't fold back at speed.
                            2. Apply good 2-part epoxy to the upper back of the lip and stick to car. smooth out top ridge of epoxy like caulk to make a perfect edge. You can manually hold for 30 minutes or so until it sets or use tape to suspend it.
                            3. Let it dry 24 hours - then paint it.

if you paint it, you need to have some type of flex agent in it, otherwise it will spiderweb or crack wit the smallest flex.

My only beef with is it that I can't find anywhere over here that sells the stuff, so my mate is gonna make me one outta fibre-glass for his business portfolio...for free...win
