    Since you herbs decided to screw up my Lil Wayne thread I figured I'd build you your own playground

    I'm going by albums because rap used to tell a story:

    Dr. Dre- The Chronic

                    That's not a good range IMO, I'd say 2000 and back. Keep in mind a lot of greats were still making music past that point. Or hadn't even come out yet,.

                        There is no doubt about that, but I feel 2000 was the real turning point, so before that I would say would be good.

                          I don't listen to a lot, but I enjoy Eric. & Rakim, Das EFX, KRS-One.. that sort of stuff. I'm not very knowledgable in hiphop, I just like the way they used to flow.
