I auto-x my car slammed. I spin the fronts up about 5 spins and put on 245s and high offsets though.
No action pics unfortunately.
My next set up will be slammed, flush, wide, decently meaty, and still stretched. I want to look good on the daily grind and still be able to rip it on the track without having to change wheels, ride height, etc.
I autocrossed a few times this summer, tried with it raised and with it slammed and slammed was way better. Thats mostly because slammed means shocks bottomed out so the suspension is much stiffer haha.
+1 on the geo angles, its not just VWs. E30s become a lot more fun to drive with mild lowering, but the angles go out the window pretty quickly, i know mine are out. Ive wanted to find/make a solution similar to the roll center spacers you can get for e30 m3s, but its honestly a low priority right now

remember the exhaust on the way back?
I approve of your signature too, no italicizing either.

I didn't do any HPDE because it costs money.
But I did compare auto-x lowered, and auto-x at 4x4 height, and 4x4 height was much better.

I regularly auto-x and have had it HPDE'd but with a different set of rims and tires. Still slammed tho
Not all cars are VWs, don't pull numbers out of your ass
Most cars do share the same steering tie-rod setup and machperson strut design, though. Those are the two major issues with being slammed....your toe curves go right out the window and your roll center is completely out of whack once your lower control arm angle hits the angle that most of us are running when slammed.
There are ways to resolve the issues mentioned above and perform well, but it's a path rarely taken among the stance community at the moment.
