Been running the Ring a lot online lately. My two essential ring cars are my Flat black G35, G37, and my personal fav. Leguna Seca e92 M3.

yea, you need to have everything right/balanced in order to get a good pic. i was just giving him some basic stuff that would easily fix the shots he posted.

Here are a couple of my new ones... i'll have a full shoot of each later.

    and a little promotional shot.

    these are important too

F-Number - The effective Depth of Field (DoF). A smaller F-Number will have only a small portion of the image in focus, the higher number will have more. To cover the range, and illustrate the differences, here is an example of a 1.0 setting, and here's an example of a 45.0 setting.
Shutter Speed - In GT5, shutter speed affects the amount of motion blur in the image. In Photo Travel this will be seen in the background commotion; on the track, it can show movement of cars and wheels more effectively to bring the sense of speed. The range in-game is 1 second to as fast as 1/8000th of a second. Replay Photomode is not capable of anything slower than 1/60th, however. The Camera Menu option allows adjustments of the ten-thousandth; the Parameter option has the popular steps.

thanks. i never used a real camera before either, but if you mess around and experiment with settings. and a few tips to help you out, on the first drift shot, switch to panning mode 3 so you can make the entire car in focus but let everything else stay blurred.
here is an example of what happens when you don't switch the panning mode.

you can see that even though i focused on the car, it still got really blurred. of course, some people want these results sometimes, but usually it happens unintentionally.
and adjusting the panning mode to 3 allows the wheels to keep spinning instead of giving them a stopped look, adjusting the shutter speed helps with that too.

some of your other shots are good, particularly the 4th and 6th ones. They seem to have the best lighting out of all the photomode location pics, but make sure you use the auto focus button on the car. otherwise a picture that could have been really good (the 6th shot) ends up being just ok because it isn't completely clear.

and here a couple of other shots of the maserati, which in my opinion is a pretty damn good looking car.

(that last one uses panning mode 3)
