I bought the game yesterday. I was a little disappointed that you only can change rims, and have cockpit view on the premium cars.. And there is only 200+ premium cars and 800+ standard cars.. Also, there wasn't a lot of wheels to choose from.

I think the racing is a lot more realistic than forza and it looks way better but the customizing is lacking a lot and they should have cut the number of cars down to like 500 and had them all be premium cars. Also the course maker is total bull shit.

The endless customization you can do in Forza puts it over the top for me. Not to mention the photo taking tools.

Im at level 11 and still cant get any good cars used. When the hell do you get the good shit. I can just now get an e46 m3 but i want to get an m coupe or something. the used cars fucking suck and the new cars are a disapointment. I dont want to do fucking french car races and truck races, etc fuck that. You should be able to race in whatever level race you want, whenever you want. I also **** that you cant sell off the mods after and how little they give you to resell your car. NFS was way better on this aspect. IMO the last version of NFS the track one is better than this, WAYYY better. No porsches and not even the 2010 mustang. the cars suck.

i heard that doing all the license tests and then cart races gets you easy money, so just abuse that to get cash for better cars. and i'm still disappointed in the level of exterior customization in GT.

I've always been a fan of GT. Got all of them. Still got my PS2 just for GT4. But after getting my copy of GT5 this weekend, I'm starting to question my loyalty towards the game. I'm so hoping the the game will get better as I go along. And why the fuck does there have to be so many versions? With Forza there's only one. Like it ought to be. No signature or collector's editions. Just one. And with all the cool shit I've seen some of the guys do with their cars on Forza, I think I know now what I want for Christmas!

I got it, I'm at level 15, about to hit 16. Most of the cool shit comes around 15. I feel like its harder to make money in GT5, if you win a championship, you only get the prize car once, which means you cant sell them for the extra money. And in B-spec, you cant fast forward, so now I have to sit there for a whole race instead of zipping through them. Payouts in races seem less. I feel like I had way more money in GT4 at this level.

BTW, do yourself a favor and drive a bone stock 458 italia at the limit, that shit is amazing, i dont even wanna fuck with it

Oh and we should get some kind of challenge going, like one track, one car, post your best time, like the forza thread.
