I know the M42 pan is very low, but I wasn't aware that the M20 was such a pain to replace. The S14 in the M3 was very simple to remove and fit again. Remove one plastic cover that is held in place by 4-5 bolts, then unscrew the 15ish bolts holding the lower pan in place and your done.

Sprinkle some Holy Water on your car's lowest point.

I'm not that low. But if I had any advice. Set your coilovers to the stiffest setting and fuck it. When my back tires rub for hard cornering I grin ear to ear. When my tires rub against my fenders turning. I look to see who's looking. When someone asks if your car is supposed to make the noise it did from being low, ask them if they moan when they're having sex.

Basically just drive it hard.

First thing i figured out was 1 tire on the speed bump at all times and you will be fine.

Drive on top of the ruts unless you want to throw sparks.

Learn to deal with the crazy looks from people when going over everything at an angle.
