i didn't mean to come off as a dick lol i assume he doesn't know what an sp1200 is which is fine, but when i see something i don't know i do a quick google search.

here is a old "Housey" song i did when i use to go by another alias couple years ago (i didn't do the video, i have no idea what its all about)... i used an Akai MPC 2000XL that i still have and use daily (1.5MB ram 1998-99 release date)

humans use to make amazing music with so little, people only had 256 KB memory to sample/load sounds with, that's less then 12 seconds of sound to work with and they blew peoples minds. now you have gigabits of space and 3000 different effects in one laptop, yet music sounds like ass today. (majority of it)

nope, i guess i just miss the "old" Daft Punk music, but they are human and have freedom to make whatever music they like using whatever they want, shit bang pots and pans together for all i care if it sound good it sounds good.

i just miss these type of "House" songs.

I get what you are saying, but take a few minutes to read Pitchforks Cover Story on Daft Punk. I think you might get more of an idea of what they were trying to accomplish with this album.
