  • How did you end up with your car?

So how did you end up with your current car?

At the time I had an E36 M3 and a MK2 Jetta. I was looking around to get rid of the jetta and get a nicer daily driver. I came across my E30 325i on bfc. Turns out it was local (the same town as me) and he was actually a customer of mine. also, he once bought a mk3 s/c jetta from my boss lol. but anyway, went to look at it. bought it on the spot. then i got rid of the mk2, and i actually liked it better than the M. so i got rid of that one too, and now i only have the E30.

          What Dave said George.

But if its a mommy and daddy story its ok.

We had a mini van (04 Sienna), wasn't the best on gas (not bad for a van though), but I got my license, and filling that shit up was a bitch. So we sold it, then I said I wanted a manual, so with 1/2 the money from the van they bought the Integra (4 grand). I fill it up, do all the maintenance, and do my own mods, etc. Thats how I got it haha.

Sold my $480/month Altima SER and was looking for a fun <$10k car to screw around with in college, remembered beating the shit out of my buddy's $800 rusty NA MR2 in HS and how much fun it was, made a post on www.mr2oc.com saying I was looking for a mint Mk1 MR2 SC, the next week I drove home my minty mint AW11 from an older gentleman 45 minutes away.

All my guap, if anyone's interested. Work hard, play hard.

right? i fully plan on supporting any hypothetical children i have. obviously they'd have to be good kids and still have jobs and the like, but i won't be having them drive around in a pos that barely runs if i've got the means to provide otherwise.

Crashed my MK4 Jetta into a tree, took over my mom's Passat.

I hope this doesn't turn into one of those threads where everyone has to justify the car they drive and how they pay for everything, because its already going down that road.

nothing wrong with that. ppl will try to **** but money isnt comin out of ur pocket. id love to not have a $500 car note right now 5 years left woohoo!

i had a mazda 6 (automatic weak 4banger) that was slow and boring. wanted a standard with more power. current GF was car hunting at the time and i saw a bright red wagon at a dealership. after a month of internet research and bugging the shit out of a sales man, i found a guy to buy my 6 and went in and signed the papers. wasted all 12 gallons driving like an idiot the first night in my brand new mazdaspeed3
