Around where Im from the metal/hardcore scene is pretty big, but there is no real way to hear about new bands and cds other than word of mouth. Weve got no radio stations or anything. So i figure this could be a good way for fellow metal heads to share bands we're listening to. Ill start (cause im looking for new music anyways)

System of a Down, Metallica and Black Sabbath are about the only metal bands I like. Granted, I haven't really given the genre much of a listen, but there's too much screamo these days, and I fucking **** that shit.

Saw system at big day out '05 when I was 15 and about 5'5" haha (I'm 6'1" now) and I rocked the fuck out. Was awesome, three rows from the front.

I saw them play at Mayhem fest 2009 and they were good
