so i've recently been considering the idea of starting to make some beats and give the dj game a try.

i'm just wondering what type of software i should start with and what equipment i should get.

i already have a really nice yamaha keyboard. i just need some recommendations for recording software and any other acessories i may need.

my homie uses fruityloops. i tried it a while ago, i dunno how it is now.

Depends, what do you want to do because typically mixing on the same software as making beats is no easy task.

I use FL Studios 9 (Fruity Loops) to make beats and I have Denon and Pioneer turntables to mix.

yeah FL studio 9 is good and if you are a big bawler buy a mpc1000
also reason 4 is nuts but harder to understand .
