Try the Palisades Interstate Park underneath the George Washington Bridge. The view is beautiful and I've been to a VW gathering there before, so I know they are familiar with this stuff.

A $200 refundable deposit is required to receive a permit.

I heard bout bald hill but havent been there. In hecksher they have a lot I think its 5 or 6 thats like a football field, next to a beach, basketball court, playground, bbq area

Also we could do it at Bald Hill cultural park out here on LI they have a huge car meet there everyweek or so and they certainly have plenty of room so I dont think we would get hassled

Talked the the Mall people finally today, they said they wanted $5,000 to rent out just 75 spaces. Something we cannot do. This seems like a standard amount too. If you guys could call up those parks and see what they can do that would be great, I am calling several local areas and seeing what we they can do, but not sure how well this is going to go.

FDR park in Yorktown Heights, Ny? Its a big park with several lots, and there has been several successful big meets there. ex (8thgen civic meet)

After making some phone calls, it's probably way too late to get something like this finalized for this weekend. Permits require approximately 7-10 days to get the go.
