I'm coming from North Alabama. 5 1/2 hour drive wont be too bad. I'll be going through Birmingham and Atlanta on the way so I'd like to meet up and cruise with any group in either area...or both areas, if you're into that kind of thing.

We're heading up Friday but we aren't going down to Bham and then across to Atlanta anymore. We decided the drive to Chattanooga and down to Helen would be better. If anybody there sees a guy wearing some type of chubbies and a stanceworks shirt walking around with a girl way out of his league, that's me. Just yell at me. All the stanceworks guys need to get together for a beer, but I suspect half the people there are on this site at some point. Oh well...any excuse for beer.

I can't wait. So on the recent blog post mike talks about picking up his car and towing it to california or wherever he lives now in two weeks...which is when sowo is...so just on wishful hunch, is mikes car going to be there? Cause I know a bunch of the s/w guys like c-hutch live there in tennessee and are going so that's what I'm assuming. I'm making the assumption rusty will be at sowo, at least on a tow car or something.

Also I'd like to meet up with you guys and grab a beer or something if yall decide to have a meet, maybe on Thursday before it gets crazy busy? Idk

I was going to sleep in my car. Lord knows the Benz is easily comfortable enough to haha. But we ended up getting a campsite outside of Helen at "Jenny's Creek Campgrounds". My girlfriend actually suggested camping because we've never been camping together. Speaking of which, I posted a question on the Facebook event about parking for non VAG cars and I got straight up flamed. I hope it's not that bad there haha. If so, this is going to be a long weekend.

Most likely the youngest of the people going to SOWO. I find that generally the VW bunch is the most accepting when it comes to other makes. There are plenty of others there every year and little to no public h ating.

U have now idea how ready i am to leave Central Florida for 4 days of heaven in Helen,GA!!!

hopefully my car will be at the expected level by May.
