How are the classes judged? Is it like by manufacturer or like stock class, modified class typea thing?

Soooooo I forgot my camera, anyone get any sweet pics? Especially of that really cool white 190e.. first place in the "other european class 2" category..mainly because there was only like 2 other cars in that category..
