On Saturday May 7th, Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity along with Alpha Omega Epsilon and the Society of Automotive Engineers will be hosting the Second Annual BU Show N' Shine at the Binghamton University Events Center!
Starting at 10am, cars of all makes and models are welcome to enter their rides for a chance to win best in class or best in show. A $10 donation is required for all cars entering the show. Spectators are FREE. Awards will be handed out at 3pm so if you'd like to be judged be there by 1pm.
Awards for best Domestic, Euro, Import, Classic and best in show. The winner of each category will receive a trophy along with a free pair of weekend admittance passes to the Sahlens Race at Watkins Glen International June 3-5!!
All proceeds to benefit the Binghamton Crime Stoppers. Music and entertainment to be provided by 92.5 KGB.
Last year we had a great turnout and were able to raise $600 for the American Foundation for the Blind. This year we are hoping to see 200+ cars with a goal of raising $2000 for the Binghamton Crime Stoppers.
Also during the day:
-Binghamton University's annual Spring Fling. Games and activities for those of all ages throughout campus with a FREE concert in the evening. Concert lineup includes FAR EAST MOVEMENT, SUPER MASH BROS, and TAKING BACK SUNDAY!
-New York State Chili Cookoff Championship. Take a 20 foot walk to the next parking lot and enjoy a tasty bowl of chili to compliment the day. All participants and spectators are also welcome to join the competition. All rules and costs can be found on the NYS Chili website ($10 admission for BU students and BU student groups)
