Late on Friday night, we did some dyno runs of the E90 with the water-meth fully operational. And yes, of course, we captured it on video.
There’s nothing quite like standing directly in front of a vehicle doing a dyno run, all for the sake of capturing the right moment. The ear protectors did a great job of keeping the noise down, but there’s no substitute for the feeling you get as the FMU E90 surges forward under load. One snap of the straps and that’s all, folks. But thankfully your humble narrator doesn’t mind putting his well-being on the lane for the right photograph. Perhaps I’m being a bit melodramatic, but it was definitely a little bit of a rush. And the results make the risk seem negligible.
