Hello there guys and girls!
First post up on here, so I hope this is the right section (apologise if not!). Right I'm in the middle of stancing my BMW e36 saloon on a budget, but I am having some trouble with rubbing.
My setup:
- Cheap eBay coilovers
- Rear sits without adjuster cups
- Front has recently been hired about 6/7mm from full slam
- Wheels ( Not sure on the make of them, but they look like BMW style 42 reps)
- 8.5j all round
- ET40 all round
- Front has 5mm spacers to clear coilovers
The problem I am having is when I drive around a corner that has a slight bump the front wheels hit the arch. I think it might be the plastic lining, not 100% sure. However, I've seen people with wider/more aggressive ET and they don't seem to have issues.
What would be the best plan of action? I would really like to deck the front a little more too! I'm new to all this so sorry if this sounds like a stupid dilemma I find myself in!
I should add I can't really fork out to get the arcches rolled being a student.
Thanks!
