  • 2 inch spacers

Hey guys, i have a 1987 Mazda Rx7 with fender flares and need to know if any of you guys know of any 2- 2 1/4 inch wheel spacers. after measuring a few times i know that's what i need to get my car flush but cant find any spacers that wide. In some of the pictures of adaptec's shop on the post on the blog there appear to be some pretty big spacers, but the biggest i could find on their website was 30mm (for Rx8s, they dont even have Rx7 stuff)

So if anyone knows where i could get some spacers that big, it would be greatly appreciated, My only other option would be to modify my rear wheels, but im kinda low on funds and think spacers would be cheaper (but i plan to ask my guy regardless)

Also, i prefer to live, so itd probably be best if you only told me about things that you at least know your sister's husband's cousin, edwin use and hasnt died yet lol

Don't do it, you will wreck your wheel bearings. Get wider wheels.

      lel.

You must be the kind of person who wonders how someone can fit lexus wheels on a toyota.

For wheel spacers, you don't need to know about which cars they are made for. That's just stupid. You need to know the bolt pattern (for FC RX7's it's either 4x114.3 or 5x114.3) and the stud size.

If you get bolt on spacers, it shouldn't make a difference. It should wear the bearings out the same as running a lower offset wheel.

      IDK about wheel width though

lol no, i was simply commenting on how odd it is that they dont have spacers made for the car (let alone the fact that they set up their website based on car instead of just size and bolt pattern)

The main point though is that they only made 30mm spacers as far as i saw, which is a little more than half of what i need.. so, again i ask, are there any reputable 2 inch spacers out there

Its no that they dont make spacers for your car, you just don't know where to look. If you were really a big boy, you'd just google your lug pattern and stud size(if you even have to), and see what you can find.

But do you really want to run two inch spacers? Honestly, if you have to run that thick of a spacer, your wheel must be either really high offset, or really narrow. And I doubt you have a really wide, high-offset wheel. My point is, its gonna look ridiculous. If you want your wheels to fit right, take out your fender flares. Either that, or get new wheels.

Did you even do a proper test fit? Or are you just guessing? How low are you?

Mywheeladapters.com will have a one inch spacer I believe. Thats the biggest Ive seen.
          Simple.

don't put that wide of spacers. you can buy a set of used reps for the same price as you're going to sped on spacers. or just take the fender flares off

the wheels are 9.5 and the lips already fairly wide (though idk exact offset)

The reason why im running the fender flares is because the quarter panel is very screwed up underneath, this seemed like the best fix for that, and now im committed

Yes ive done test fits and measurements, this isnt a guess, the car is sitting fairly low and will go lower (should be flush when im done, now its just close)

But yes, im now looking into a company that the wheel guy down the street from me told me about, when i took my wheels there for an estimate. he said about $300 a piece, so i guess i really am going for spacers or new wheels lol..
