  • 235/30 on a 9.5J

Hi guys is a 235/30 safe on a 9.5J wide wheel...im just a bit worried as a 30 profile tyre isnt alot to stretch due to its super low profile! Especially as i do 1500 miles (almost 2500km) a month i wanna know its safe

    Any help will be appreciated!

        I use a 215/40 on my 9.5
But if you look up Texas-J, he has a celica as well and is running a 215/35 on his 9.5. I think 235/30 would be just fine. The tire guru on another forum I'm on told me once before that a 30 sidewall is tough to stretch, but if the tire itself is wide enough, its nothing the tire cant handle.
