e30 cold start problem

hey everyone my e30 will not start when cold like early mornings but will start later in the day when its a little warmer... has anyone had this problem or something similar or any ideas of where i should start looking all help is welcome

its an old car with an old motor. just be patient.

further test show that its getting fuel at the rail and after the quick check of the ignition system the bentley manual describes it looks like im not getting a spark my car any ideas??

what engine do you have ?

i have the same issue with my e30. i believe its a cold start valve/thermoswitch . the car hates the cold weather.

my cold start valve is good i tested it and it turned out to be my main relay i swapped it and the car started right up and it was good for about a week but occasionally now it wont start without starter fluid does anyone think this could be an air flow meter problem?
