  • Using adapters with lug studs as opposed to bolts. 4x100 to 5x120 specifically

If I were interested in running 5x120 wheels on my '73 BMW 2002, would it be possible? I know 4x100 to 5x120 adapters are complicated as it is, but the fact that my 2002 uses studs instead of bolts poses a whole new problem. Has anyone ever heard of a solution to this, or am I shit outta luck? Thanks

Open ended nuts and cut down the studs to be flush with the adapters?

On certain adapters that would work, but since 4x100 to 5x120 adapters require a special design since the holes interfere with each other now matter what position they are in (I hope that makes sense), I could see it being more difficult.
