So I need some help with this I want to have running ac in my car for the summer. But I need to get rid of the r12/oil in the lines. I have looked up a few different conversion kits for this but they all sound cheap. Right now I don't know if there is any r12 left in the system but im not positive. I want to go and get the lines vacuum out and then take out the compressor but a new one and such. Or use the old compressor and just flush out the lines etc.
Here are some pictures of the current set up. Only 2 lines are coming off the compressor one to the radiator and one to the cab.
Any ac techs or info on how to convert this would be awesome.
If at all possible I would like to do it my self besides the vacuum.
