    time and money
    what are those?

anyway - A-series spares ( http://aseriesspares.co.uk/ ) would probably be your first go-to, check out the stuff they have for moggies - then move onto http://www.jlhmorrisminors.co.uk/index.php - the guys at both will be more than happy to advise you. there's also a group on Facebook; morris minor drivers association - they're mostly young members from the UK and there's a few into mods on there

stance/lows wise mine is a bit of a running joke on here - I live on next to nothing a week and am always fixing some vital part of the car - I do have some wheels coming next week and we can get started properly then.

there's a few pics in my rather uninspiring build thread - she's white, 4 door - accents red.

i always thought the engine bay was huge - a lot of people drop ford zetecs or fiat twincams in them, but i found the standard 1098 is enough for daily use.

Dont buy a CS. There ton of purist that would kill to have that car and spend god awful amount of money to keep it alive and do it right. Your first car needs to be something you can trash, experiment, learn. E9 is not a good bmw to jump into. Get like an e23, south africa has all badass 7's.(745i, m88 7's(you actually shouldnt get a m88 7 either)) And 333i's but dont get one of those either for a first. Bottom line get a beater.

it als seeems like you dont really touch anything unless its a coupe? and these 7"s can be rather nice for a nicer price but the fuel consumption is a bitch but,... but i did snaap around and i saw fluidmotorunion's 7 which is jaw dropping and there's a gorgeous one on M Burroughs site

I would agree with what was said. You might be alittle over your head. If you want to drive something that captures the spirit of that era how about an e3 bavaria? They are cheaper and easier to come by and arent as heart breaking if something happens

Your crazy to look at an older car in SA unless you have the pockets to support it

Best bet is something like an E30 (not the 325 etc since it WILL get stolen) if you stuck on a BM

parts are easy to get and cheap enough to run without killing you

Look for an E24/E28/E30/E36 - Parts will be much easier to find.

How 'bout this? (Disclaimer: any enthusiast don't kill me or ban me or some shit): BMW 635 CSi with a 97 2.0 l camry motor? / should have enough grunt around town (I'm not a guy for races or any ego stuff about dangerous speed I like a car when its driving like it should be,
                      elegantly)
