  • What to do with these Alphards..?

I just bought a set of Alphards for about 220$.. I tought I could renovate them but when I arrived to polisher he said he can polish only this part:

And the condition of rims are about this:

    Lots of straches and stains..

So now I need some advices.. I dont know what to do with them...

Do you think I should polish this part that I showed on the first picture and then I can paint the rest?
Or it's better to paint whole wheels?
Or do you think I can do it by myself? but I have no polish machine here..

-sorry for the low photo quality

if you want them full polish, you could have them chromed. or as stated, just paint/powder the windows.

The windows are already painted , correct? And the polished center I believe has a clear on it which is either going to have be sanded off or stripped anyways before he can polish it. If you want it tobe fully polished take it somewhere that does either soda blasting or stripping and have them take off everything. Then go back to the polisher and have everything polished....if he says he can't do it still. Find another polish place

I agree with what some people said earlier, media blast or soda bast (more gentle, but will still take off paint); then either chrome dip, paint inner then polish outer, or there is a chrome type paint too.

I started polishing a valve cover and the easier parts to polish are the flat surfaces; corners around the letters and indents are a PITA!

Maybe the guy doing the polishing is using a bench top polisher (less maneuverability)?

                  .
