  • Toyota 22re misfire mystery, please solve :)

Ok so I picked up this 1990 Toyota pickup for $700 and I have lowering, body and wheel plans, BUT cylinder 1 has a constant misfire that I cant figure out.
It's misfiring at idle and kind of smooths out when I accelerate but still misfires (based on my Subaru sounding exhaust note).
So far ive changed plugs wires cap and rotor and I did a compression test here's mu results:
    Cyl.1- 165
    Cyl.2-162
    Cyl.3-165
    Cyl.4-168

Drove exactly the same after ignition parts where replaced. I'm thinking it could be a fuel injector on cyl.1 since the plug looked clean compared to the others. Before I swap injectors I was thinking if I could run some fuel injector cleaner and possibly get that first one working again? Also the plugs were pretty burnt up when I pulled them out and the first plug was slightly wet.

Also any ideas besides fuel injectors?

Here's a pic of the truck just to keep it exciting lol.

have you checked your external coil? thats what i'd look at next. also is it possible its an EGR leak?

i'd definitely be testing those injectors asap

I did notice a pretty hefty exhaust leak on the manifold. I have a new one (junkyard) to throw on just haven't had a break from work and HW lol. I haven't tried the coil, but if it was the coil wouldn't I have no spark at all or random misfires?
