  • The BIG question! *please read*

Right guys, I have no idea how you lot manage to get your mk4 platform cars so low! I currently drive a Seat Leon which so far I've got the coilovers wound fully down without helpers or bump stops. It's going to get a chassis notch next month and a custom sump guard.

However, it's no where as low as what you lot manage to get yours :-/
I'm currently running a 215/45 profile on some 17x7.0's although I have got some 3 piece splits to refurb and run them. What tyres will see the stance perfect and sitting a lot lower?

Please help as I'm trying to get my Leon the lowest in the UK.

Here's how he sits at the moment

How I'd want it to sit or near abouts

Since you're already threaded the whole way down without bump stops/ helpers, then no. You will either need different coils or air.

Not true at all. Gauge's car went between air and static and stayed about that low.

Here's another Texas mk4. Definitely static:

OP, what coils are you on? Imagine that is your first problem.
