Raising the engine, BMW E34

Hey, i have a BMW E34 and i was wondering if anyone have tried "raising" the engine to get more clearance from the oil pan to the ground with some 1 inch spacers or something?. Will i get any problems with the gearshift or driveshafts because of the changed angle of the engine?

Don't try it, it will tear up the guibo, driveshaft bushing, diff mounts, tranny mounts...
