  • 4-lug to 5-lug swap help

I'm new to the forums, but I figured that this would be the best place to post this. I'm picking up a BMW 325e this weekend and it's a 4-lug. I'm really more interested in the 5-lug game so I'm wondering how crazy a swap would be. Any advice on where to start and what I'd need/need to replace would be good. I know it's kind of a broad list of things to ask, but any help would be appreciated.

there are two main ways to go about it.

Get the e30 M3 complete suspension with everything. /Pricey as f*ck

    Or

Get the e36 components. quick list goes like this.
    -Front.
97+ m3 kingpins with hubs and bearings.
    97+ m3 lower control arms
    97+ m3 breaks
Your choice of struts, normally people go with coil overs.
    Offset lower control arm bushings
Its very important to get the 97+ m3 components in order to get the right caster. and getting the wheel perfectly centered in the wheel well If you chose to go with the pre97 m3 stuff, or non-m. you will seriously ruin the specs, handling and maybe be a danger to other people as well

    For the rear.
You will need e36 318ti must be TI complete swing arms.
and all the parts that are associated with it. like breaks, hubs.
A very common thing to do, is installing a aftermarket camber/caster kit, to get the right specs.
swapping to the 318ti setup will push your wheels more out towards the fenders.

Good luck with the project and welcome to stanceworks
