  • Spacers, steel vs. aluminium

I've searched this forum but I couldn't find anything about this.

Is there any difference between the two other than the weight (obviously)? Safety issues, pro's/con's etc. Steel spacers must surely put more stress on the wheelbearings because of the weight, right? I'm very interested in your opinions and thought.

    Best regards // Andy, Sweden

They're both retarded? Both will put more stress on wheels studs/bearings.

            Defnitely.

Op, aluminium wheel spacers are generally of better quality, lighter and as previous stated, won't rust.

have a related question, and dont mean to interupt op's thread, but i need to find some aluminum 10mm spacers or even 5mm, where would be the best source to acquire them, its 4x100 pattern

search on google or go to your local wheel shop. you could run universal spacers if you dont want to spend a lot of money, if only running 5-10mm.
