Last year I had my front adapters machined down to bring the wheels further in so they didnt poke as much. But I also has to get the head of the wheel bolts milled down aswell (the bolts that bolt to the hub).
The bolts are a right pain to remove when wanting to take the adapters off due to the shallow head.
1 of the bolts nearly rounded, so i'm needing new bolts. But would a tuner style bolt be better in this situation?
My thinking behind the tuner style bolt is, ill be able to get a better grip on the socket to remove the bolt because maybe the stud pattern could go further down into the bolt compared to a generic VW hub bolt?
