i have a 1962 f-100 and i took the bottom 3 of the 6 leaf springs out on each side of the front axle and put them on top of the larger 3 plates.
it lowered the front of my truck a good 4 inches which is what i wanted. but now if you stand facing the front of the truck, the driver side looks like its leaning further down than the passgner side.
i also installed new 17 inch shocks in the front to replace the original shot 18 inchers. could that have been part of my problem?
is this a common thing?
it seems like in the process of doing this the driver side springs might have become flatter? idk it seems like that is the only explaination i can come to.
i have a 1962 f100 that i have been using as a parts truck and i was thinking about just swaping one or both of the springs front the front end over to see if that would fix my problem.
does anyone have any other suggestions?
i'll try to get some pictures of it up in the next few days.
